Sterilization roomThere is a folk proverb: “If you want to know more about the master of house first of all you must visit his kitchen”. Our kitchen is a sterilization room which is the most responsible room in our clinic. There is a complex of equipment for cleaning, packing and sterilization of instruments. We think that the qualified disinfection, cleaning and sterilization of instruments is one of the most important factors of the success for surgical operations .
 The infection with instruments can be avoided due to the keeping of hygienic rules. The most instruments need a special care. We achieve the efficient results due to complex using of the advanced equipment and efficient solutions. In our clinic there is a sterilization system of the leading Italian firm SARATOGA s.p.a. The cleaning of instruments are carried out with the device for the supersonic cleaning for 20 minutes. The instruments are packed in disposable package (with the packaging maschine).
Than instruments are sterilized in autoclav (with using of steam) or dry-roasted board.
The quality of sterilization is controlled with the computer and indicators and all sterile packages are opened only in presence of the patient. The health epidemiological service tests the instruments on sterility monthly. The clinic works according to hygienic plan that comply all sanitary demands and the standards of the disinfection means manufacturers. In the sterilization room there is distillatory that provides the clinic with the destilled water in the definite amount that is necessary for the function of the medical equipment. |
